This week we had the fabulous opportunity to help out at the
Phillie zoo:) This polar bear was so beautiful:)

Last week we helped out at the
Phillie food bank, i got this sticker and am totally in love with it! I have never seen such a big food bank
warehouse in my life!

This week i also had the
privilege of working with the new jersey tree foundation. This week we helped prune trees and sadly had to cut down the ones that had died! It was fun to go out into these communities and hear the stories for the neighborhood on how the trees have brought them closer and helped bring a since of neighborhood to them. It felt wonderful to see what a tree can do for a street. Not to mention that everyone on the street looks out for
each others tree's. It is amazing to have your
preconceived notions of a city tossed in your face.

The best part about this week was that I got to be like my Grandpa Bob. It was like I was with family even tho they are thousands of miles away. My Grandpa's hobby is trains, and this week i was the train expert, even tho I admit that I am truly not. I took every thing I had ever learned from my grandpa and put it in use. I also got to teach those around me how to build these trains and fix them so they can work. I fixed up
Thomas and got him up and running on a new track out in the train garden of the
Camden's children's garden.
